- Laem Tong / Loh Bagao (north) — upscale resorts, private beaches, silence. You rely on a boat for everything, which is part of the isolated charm.
- Railay (Krabi) — limestone cliffs, superb beaches, boat-access only, intimate vibe.
- Avoid on a honeymoon: central Tonsai (bars until late).
