Annual closure of Maya Bay — August 1 to September 30. During the monsoon, Maya Bay is closed to landing by the national park. During this period, we admire the bay from the water and swimming/snorkeling is done at Pileh Lagoon and Loh Samah; the rest of the program is unchanged.
Prices for the private boat
The speed boat is privatized for your group only: the price is per boat, not per person. The grid opposite applies depending on the size of the group:
- 1 to 4 people: 12,000 THB (fixed price — even for 1, 2 or 3 pax)
- 5 to 9 people: +500 THB per additional person (12,500 → 14,500 THB)
- 10 to 15 people: 23,000 THB
- 16 to 20 people: 26,000 THB
- More than 20 people: upon quote
National park fees not included (400–800 THB/person depending on areas visited). More than 20 people: upon quote — we charter a larger boat or several units.

Why privatize
A private speed boat makes sense if:
- You are 6+ people: the price per head becomes competitive compared to shared tours.
- Tight schedules: you want to leave at 6 a.m. at sunrise and return at 3 p.m.
- Young children: no crowds, breaks as needed.
- Photo objective: unlimited time on each site.
- Marriage / anniversary proposal: total discretion.
Our advice
Always add a guide (+1,500 THB/day). The captain is an excellent sailor but does not speak foreign languages and does not know the stories of the sites. A guide transforms the day.

Good to know
Prone to seasickness?
Take a tablet ~30 min before departure, sit mid-boat, keep your eyes on the horizon and avoid heading out on an empty stomach.
Beat the crowds
Iconic spots like Maya Bay are far calmer early in the day. Our morning departures get you there before the midday ferry rush.
National park fees
Some sites sit inside a national park, so an entrance fee may apply. Check the “Not included” list above so there are no surprises.
Sun & reef care
The tropical sun is strong — bring a hat, sunglasses and plenty of water. Reef-safe sunscreen is required in Thai marine parks.
