Our advice
- Reserve 4 days minimum in Phi Phi for the course + one weather buffer day.
- No alcohol the day before each dive — strict 24-hour rule.
- Do not fly within 18 hours of the last dive — risk of decompression.
Tip: many do Open Water (3-4 days) + Advanced (2 days) in a single week. Combo total 22,500 THB SSI — and you leave with 2 certifications.
Detailed programme
Jour 1
Theory + swimming pool
Modules 1-2 in the classroom, first contact with the equipment, exercises in swimming pool/confined water (breathing, mask, buoyancy).
Jour 2
Theory + dives 1-2
Modules 3-4, first boat trip, 2 dives at 5-12 m. Application of exercises in a natural environment.
Jour 3
Final theory + dives 3-4
Module 5, second boat trip, 2 dives at 12-18 m. Certification exercises.
Jour 4
Exam + certification
Theoretical final exam (minimum 75% pass), signing of the logbook, delivery of the certification card.
