A tour is only cancelled in two cases:

Who decides, and when you find out
The call is made the evening before or on the morning itself, based on the actual marine forecast, not the rain icon on your weather app, which says nothing about the state of the sea. In practice:

If conditions worsen: we offer to shift by a day, switch you to a morning slot, or refund.
On the day, the captain has the final word, the boat's safety is his call.

From August 1 to September 30 every year, the national park closes Maya Bay for regeneration. Tours don't stop: Pileh Lagoon, Loh Samah, Viking Cave, Monkey Beach and Bamboo Island remain open, and honestly, Pileh in post-squall light is one of the finest sights in the archipelago.
