The two jewels of the south, in a single day

Koh Haa is a turquoise lagoon surrounded by five limestone peaks, with underwater visibility among the best in the Andaman Sea. Koh Rok are two twin islands separated by a translucent channel, a preserved coral reef and almost deserted white sand beaches. Both belong to Mu Ko Lanta National Park, no hotels, no jet skis, just the sea.

Most visitors have to choose one or the other. This excursion combines both in the same day, by speedboat from Phuket, with an early bird departure to arrive at the spots before everyone else.

The program

  • Koh Haa, the lagoon: snorkeling in a natural swimming pool between peaks, tropical fish and corals a few meters from the surface.
  • Koh Rok, the beach: picnic lunch on the white sand, swimming and relaxing.
  • Koh Rok, the reef: two snorkeling spots along one of the best preserved reefs in southern Thailand.

Take a tablet ~30 min before departure, sit mid-boat, keep your eyes on the horizon and avoid heading out on an empty stomach.

  • Beat the crowds

Iconic spots like Maya Bay are far calmer early in the day. Our morning departures get you there before the midday ferry rush.

The tropical sun is strong, bring a hat, sunglasses and plenty of water. Reef-safe sunscreen is required in Thai marine parks.

  • What to pack
