Why Railay
Railay is in the top 3 worldwide for limestone climbing spots. People come from all over the world for its sheer cliffs above the water, its multi-pitch routes and its caves. And even if you've never climbed, you can start — schools have set up beginner routes on short, safe routes.
Partner schools
We work with ACE certified schools (Association of Climbing Excursion Thailand):
- Full guides (no internship students).
- Equipment renewed every 12-18 months.
- Insurance included in the price.
- Ratio 1 guide for 3-4 climbers max.
What to bring
- Sports attire, closed shoes (slippers are provided, bringing them is optional).
- Sunscreen, hat.
- Towel.
- Extra water: it's hot in Railay.
Our tip: after your morning session, go down to Phra Nang Beach for lunch at the foot of the cliffs. The sunset at Railay West is one of the best in Thailand.
