Why “4 Islands” is Krabi’s classic
It's the region's best-selling tour — and for good reason. In 6 hours, you see the 4 iconic beaches of Krabi, you go snorkeling, you walk on a sandbar that emerges from the sea, and you end up at Phra Nang Beach (the one you see on all Thailand postcards).
Value for money: unbeatable. From 1,200 THB/person in a group, this is one of our cheapest excursions with the highest density of "wow".
Choose longtail or speedboat
- Longtail (+400 THB saving): recommended if you are 3-8 calm people, like the authentic, don't fear 30 minutes by boat per trip.
- Speedboat: recommended if you have young children (fast = less patience required), seasickness, or prefer comfort.
Take away
- Swimsuit + microfiber towel
- Water shoes (shells on Chicken Island)
- Reef-safe sunscreen
- Waterproof phone case
- Respect for the Phra Nang cave: no disrespectful photos of the offerings
Our tip: the tour is also done at sunset (departure 1:30 p.m., return 6 p.m.) — more expensive by 300 THB but much less crowded, golden light on the cliffs, magical.
