The best street food evening in Bangkok
Chinatown (Yaowarat) is the most famous street food district in the world — the New York Times and the Guardian regularly write about it. You can eat there for 50-100 THB per dish, standing in the street, surrounded by neon lights and wok fumes.
What makes the evening special
- Tuk tuk: experience in itself, 3-4 tuk tuks in convoy, classic photos of Bangkok.
- Connoisseur guide: he selects sellers (some for 40-50 years) that you would not find alone.
- Michelin Star: Bangkok gave its first star to a street stand in 2018. Our tour lets you discover it.
Our advice
- Casual outfit + closed shoes (you walk a little between each stand).
- Come hungry — skipping lunch is recommended.
- Cash 300-500 THB for personal purchases (extra water, souvenirs, beers).
Tip: Chinatown in the evening = queue at Jay Fai (the Michelin stand). The guide goes first (partnership) — an advantage you wouldn't have alone.
