Why dive in Koh Phi Phi
The waters around the Phi Phi Islands are among the clearest in Thailand: average visibility of 15 to 25 meters, water temperatures between 27°C and 30°C all year round. The sites of Bida Nok, Bida Nai, Koh Bida and Shark Point concentrate a dense fauna - stingrays, turtles, black-tipped mouth sharks (harmless), groupers, schools of trevally.
Our partner is a 5-star PADI and SSI school based in Tonsai, with French-speaking instructors on request (to be confirmed when booking, depending on the week's schedule).
What makes our baptism different
Groups limited to 4 people per instructor — you're never lost in a group of 12.
Full supervision — an instructor for you, not a divemaster watching from afar.
Comfortable boat — not a longtail but a dedicated dive boat with changing rooms, rest area, equipment rinsed on board.
What you need to know before
No plane within 24 hours after the dive — important if you have a return flight planned right after.
Hydrate yourself and avoid alcohol the day before.
Swimsuit + towel + reef-safe sunscreen (obligatory in national park areas).
The next step
If you like the baptism, many travelers continue the next day with the Open Water course (SSI 12,900 THB or PADI 13,800 THB, 3-4 days). This is the international certification which then allows you to dive up to 18 m anywhere in the world, without compulsory supervision.
We put you in direct contact with the instructor before the outing if you have any medical or technical questions.

Before you go
Good to know
Beat the crowds
Iconic spots like Maya Bay are far calmer early in the day. Our morning departures get you there before the midday ferry rush.
National park fees
Some sites sit inside a national park, so an entrance fee may apply. Check the “Not included” list above so there are no surprises.
Sun & reef care
The tropical sun is strong — bring a hat, sunglasses and plenty of water. Reef-safe sunscreen is required in Thai marine parks.
What to pack
Comfortable shoes, light breathable clothing, water and a small backpack for the day.
Frequently asked
Yes, you have to be comfortable in the water. No certification is required for baptism, but a simple medical questionnaire is completed on site.
