The most emblematic cultural excursion in the North
The Wat Rong Khun (White Temple) is in the top 3 most photographed temples in Thailand. Its particularity: entirely white with shards of inlaid glass that sparkle in the sun, outstretched hands emerging from the ground at the entrance (souls in hell), and each detail carrying a Buddhist symbol.
Our advice
- Early departure, at 10:30 a.m. you arrive before the big waves of tours. Around 2 p.m. the White Temple is crowded.
- Easy shoes, barefoot in the main temples.
- Camera fully loaded, White Temple = 200+ easy photos.

Beat the crowds
